Fire Alerting Systems for Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Stations, Dulles Airport

	Description: This project will provide and install new fire alerting system within two Airports Authority ARFF stations. The fire alerting systems will be integrated with the Airport Authority’s Intergraph Computer Aided Dispatch System and will include head end electronics, bunkroom lighting systems, engine bay displays, TV interfaces, wire and conduit.

	Description: Phase 2, Package A will extend the Metrorail system from Wiehle Avenue in Fairfax County, VA another 11.4 miles northwest, through Washington Dulles International Airport (Dulles Airport) to a terminus near Route 772 in eastern Loudoun County. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to accomplish the final design and construction of the Rail Line, Stations, and Systems elements for all of Phase 2.

	Description: This project will install an appropriately rated Surge Tank and associated piping within the Dedicated Fire System building to mitigate surge conditions within the system. Work includes concrete, installation of a surge tank having approximately 1,500 gallon capacity, modification or installation of sections of 12 to 16” diameter water piping and large diameter valves, insulation of piping and components, relocation of electrical panels, instrumentation & controls, and commissioning of the system.
